Final from Death Valley
West Jessamine 38
Lincoln County 0
Summary
It was a hot and humid night in Death Valley with mostly sunny skies, 90 degree temperature, 58% humidity, and wind out of the southwest at 5 miles per hour at the 7:30 PM kickoff.
The out-manned and mostly young Patriots put up a strong fight tonight but were shut out by one of the strongest West Jessamine teams in several years.
Our InterCounty Energy Lineman of the Game is freshman lineman Zaiden “Big Z” Halcomb who stepped up big tonight. After the game, when asked the difference in playing varsity football now and middle school football last season, he told WPBK-FM, “Its a big difference.”

Our Guardian Exterminating and Bee Green Lawn Care Player of the Game is Dalton Brock who had 4 catches for 54 yards. After the game, Dalton told WPBK-FM, “We just have to catch the ball. We’re open and Tucker is getting the ball to us.”

Next week Lincoln County will be on the road at Danville.
