Last minute filings have added opposition to some previously unopposed races, and Lincoln County now has one democratic candidate in the local mix.
According to the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office, the following people have filed as of Jan. 9. The deadline to file in the primary elections was 4 p.m. on Jan. 9.
