LC man indicted for rape of juvenile daughter

A Lincoln County man has been indicted by a grand jury for the rape of his juvenile daughter.

The 26-year-old man, who The Lincoln County Daily News is not naming to protect the identity of the juvenile victim, was indicted on one count of rape, one count of sodomy and one count of incest.

The alleged abuse occurred from 2025 through 2026.

According to the indictment, the man is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse and deviate sexual intercourse with his daughter, a person less than 12 years old.

A bond has been set for $100,000 and the man is to have no contact with the juvenile. He is currently lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.

Detective Jay Eldridge testified before the grand jury for the Stanford Police Department.

The following people were also indicted by a Lincoln County grand jury on June 12:

  • Nicholas P. Johnson, 25, of Stanford: one count of burglary for allegedly entering or remaining unlawfully in a building owned by Wade Owens with the intent to commit a crime on April 16; one count of theft by unlawful taking for allegedly taking copper wiring belonging to Wade Owens causing pecuniary loss of $500 or more; one count of criminal mischief for defacing, destroying or damaging property belonging to Wade Owens causing a loss of $500 or more; one count of theft by unlawful taking for taking a catalytic converter belonging to Wade Owens of a value greater than $500; and one count of criminal mischief for defacing, destroying or damaging a Nissan belonging to Wade Owens, causing a loss of $500 or more. A bond was set for $10,000. Zach Nicolson testified for the Stanford Police Department. Johnson is to have no contact with Wade Owens or his property.
  • Bobby E. Howell, 62, of Waynesburg: one count of assault (domestic violence) for allegedly causing physical injury to a female by means of deadly weapon or dangerous instrument; one count of intimidating a participant in the legal process for allegedly using physical force or threatening, hindering, delaying or preventing the communication to a law enforcement officer or judge of information relating to the commission of an offense; and one count of theft by unlawful taking for taking control of moveable property (cell phone) belonging to the female and of a greater value than $500. Deputy Tony Wesley testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. A bond was set at $10,000. Howell is to have no contact with the female victim.
  • Althea S. Quinton, 57, of Crab Orchard: one count of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) on July 16 and one count of possession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone) on July 16. Deputy Austin Price testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. A bond was set at $7,500.
  • Brian K. Stigler, 58, of Stanford: one count of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) on Jan. 19 and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Austin Price testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $5,000.
  • Erika R. Coffey, 46, of McKinney: one count of fleeing or evading police on April 1; one count of falsely reporting an incident on April 1 for allegedly reporting an offense or incident to law enforcement knowing that it did not occur or knowingly giving false information to law enforcement with the intent to implicate another; and one count of being a persistent felony offender. Deputy Austin Price testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set at $15,000.
  • Michael W. Hill, Jr., 37, of Bardstown: one count of being a persistent felony offender in Lincoln County on Feb. 10. Deputy Logan Smith testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. A bond was set at $10,000.
  • Ronnie D. Jefferies, 64, of Stanford: one count of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) on Jan. 19 and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia (enhanced) for allegedly possessing items used to pack, contain, store, conceal, ingest, inject or inhale an illegal controlled substance, and while armed with a firearm. Deputy Austin Price testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. A bond was set at $20,000.
  • Kari L. Jefferies, 62, of Stanford: one count of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) on Jan. 19 and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia (enhanced) for allegedly possessing items used to pack, contain, store, conceal, ingest, inject or inhale an illegal controlled substance, and while armed with a firearm. Deputy Austin Price testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. A bond was set at $20,000.
  • Tai A. Doram, 34, of Louisville: one count of burglary for allegedly entering or remaining unlawfully in the dwelling of James Crowley on July 28, 2025 with the intent to commit a crime. Officer Preston Middleton testified for the Stanford Police Department. A bond was set at $15,000.
