A Lincoln County man has been indicted on multiple counts of rape and incest, as well as one count of human trafficking.
John Marcus Warner, Jr., 42, of 4350 Ky. Hwy. 39, was indicted by a Lincoln County grand jury on Oct. 13.
According to the indictment, the multiple alleged incidents occurred over the span of a year in 2024.
Warner has been indicted on the following counts:
• third-degree rape for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor under the age of 16 in the fall of 2024;
• incest for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with his daughter (a person less than 18 years old) in fall of 2024;
• first-degree rape – domestic violence for engaging in sexual intercourse with his daughter by forceable compulsion from fall to winter of 2024;
• incest for engaging in sexual intercourse with his daughter (a person less than 18 years old) by forceable compulsion in fall to winter of 2024;
• third-degree sodomy for engaging in deviate sexual intercourse with a minor less than 16 years old in spring of 2024;
• incest for for engaging in deviate sexual intercourse with his daughter (a person less than 18 years old) in spring 2024;
• third-degree sodomy for engaging in deviate sexual intercourse with a minor less than 16 years old in summer 2024;
• incest for for engaging in deviate sexual intercourse with his daughter (a person less than 18 years old) in summer 2024;
• third-degree sodomy for engaging in deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years old in fall 2024;
• incest for engaging in deviate sexual intercourse with his daughter 9a person less than 18 years old);
• human trafficking for intentionally subjecting a person under the age of 18 to engage in commercial sexual activity in 2024
• unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities for using an electronic system to procure or promote the use of a minor in an illegal sexual activity or other prohibited activities.
Warner’s bond has been set at $100,000. Jurors believe Warner to be a danger to the community, himself or others and requested the court set a high bond. Warner is to have no contact with the victim.
