Lincoln County Middle School Girls’ 7th Grade Team took runner-up honors this weekend at the KBC Middle School tournament in Lexington, concluding their 2025 season.
Head coach of the 7th grade team is Chansler Gilbert, assisted by Darin Lane, the head 8th grade coach, and Anna Lane, the head 6th grade coach.
This was the only loss for the girls this season, compiling a 23-1 record. In fact, they have lost only three games in the past two seasons and two of those losses were in the state championship games. They have never lost a regular season or tournament game in the Salt River Conference.
