In individual sports

Cross country, coached by Nick Bastin, is in full swing with their next meet on Saturday, September 20th at the Cougar Prowl Invitational in Somerset. Senior Abby Bastin, a state champion in track and state runner up in cross country, is currently rehabbing from a stress fracture and will be gearing up for the track season. Junior Keyera McFarland will be making another run at qualifying for the state championship as she did last season. On the boys side, Sophomore Triston Boyd has been working hard and building on last years success. The KHSAA Class 2A Region 5 Championship will be on held at Wayne County on October 25th.

Girls golf, coached by Kaycie Bandura, is finished for the season.

Boys golf, coached by Zach Johnson, will play in the regional tournament on September 23rd at Maywood Country Club in Bardstown. The team includes Kainen Withrow, Kaiden Newsome, Cash Baird, Parker Hart, Jackson Osbourn, and Jonah White. Their next match is today at East Jessamine.

In Middle School boys golf, coached by Tim Whitis, Kaiden Newsome qualified for the state middle school golf tournament to be played on September 21st at the Henry County Country Club. He was the low individual boy qualifier in the regional tournament held at Dix River Golf Course in Stanford. As a seventh grader, he also plays on the high school team.
