LCHS Football-Week 1 Stats

The Patriots amassed 340 yards of total offense while allowing only 147 yards. The opponent, Madison Southern, got less than 100 yards in separate passing and rushing totals.

Senior Damon Spigle was the leading rusher in the game, carrying the ball 22 times for 115 yards.  Damon is the son of Lincoln Football Alum, Gary Spigle.  In the 1998 regular season game against Madison Southern, which was Gary’s senior season, Gary rushed 9 times for 114 yards. Damon bested his dad by one yard against the Eagles (same opponent 27 years later)!
