The following people were indicted on Aug. 8 by a Lincoln County grand jury:
• Samuel B. Lawson, 32, of Paducah: one count of theft by unlawful taking on June 5 by allegedly taking property belonging to David Goodwin of a value of over $1,000 and one count of criminal mischief (first degree) for knowingly destroying property belonging to David Goodwin of a value of over $500. Bond was set at $7,500. Deputy Ron Luster testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
• Lou Ann Shearer, 39, of Waynesburg: one count of theft by unlawful taking on June 5 by allegedly taking property belonging to David Goodwin of a value of over $1,000 and one count of criminal mischief (first degree) for knowingly destroying property belonging to David Goodwin of a value of over $500. Bond was set at $7,500. Deputy Ron Luster testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
• Bradley J. Kimberl, 27, of Louisville: two counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon on March 20; one count of receiving stolen property on March 20 knowing or having reason to believe the firearm had been stolen; one count of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) on March 20; one count of possession of a defaced firearm; one count of resisting arrest; and one count of being a persistent felony offender. Bond was set at $25,000. Deputy Marty Elliott testified for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
