Story and Photos by Abigail Roberts
Just in time for Mother’s Day, the Lincoln County Farmers Market is officially open.
May 1 marked the first day of the local market. Fresh produce is limited as it is still early in the season, but there are a few options available including local honey, fresh lettuce, squash and several gardening plants.
The market will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 1-2, offering a variety of homemade, local items from jewelry, goat’s milk soap, jams, meats, candles, crocheted items and more.
The Lincoln County Farmers Market is located under the pavilion at Veterans Park in Stanford.
