Stanford Police were called to Highland Elementary Tuesday afternoon for a suspected burglary.
SPD Chief Zach Middleton said officers were called to the scene after someone reported apparent signs of forced entry into the elementary school.
“At this time nothing has been reported to be missing or stolen,” Middleton said Wednesday morning.
Video footage is being reviewed and the investigation is ongoing, he said.
Highland Elementary was officially closed at the end of the 2026 school year.
