The following cases/defendants proceeded by information on May 8, 2026, as opposed to waiving to a Grand Jury for possible indictment:
• Ricky Thompson, 52: the Commonwealth’s Attorney charges that on or about April 10 in Lincoln County, Thompson was allegedly found in possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
• Antonio Johnson, 39, of Richmond: the Commonwealth’s Attorney charges that on or about Dec. 29, 2025, Johnson allegedly committed the offense of trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin).
• Patrick Courtney, 34, of Stanford: the Commonwealth’s Attorney charges that on or about March 25, Courtney allegedly failed to comply with Sex Offender Registry requirements.
• Michael Hendrickson, 35, of Lancaster: the Commonwealth’s Attorney charges that on or about April 15 Hendrickson was allegedly found in possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
• Emily S. Hatfield, 22, of Morehead: the Commonwealth’s Attorney charges that on or about Feb. 15, Hatfield allegedly committed the offense of assault (third-degree) by causing physical injury to Deputy Aaron Steele, as well as resisting arrest.
• Bradford Ping, 43, of Harrodsburg: the Commonwealth’s Attorney charges that on or about April 4 Ping allegedly committed the offense of burglary (third-degree) at Walmart in Stanford.
Brandi S. Hartrum, 45, of Hustonville: the Commonwealth’s Attorney charges that on or about March 15 Hartrum was allegedly found in possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
