Lincoln County voters have a chance to meet local political candidates this Friday at the Broughtontown Community Center.
The Meet the Candidates forum will begin at 5 p.m. April 24.
This event is a chance for voters to receive valuable information about local candidates before heading to the polls to vote in May and November.
Local and state election candidates have been invited to speak. Each speaker will choose their format of speaking during their allotted time. The public is encouraged to come ready to ask questions.
The center will be serving ribeye steak sandwiches or chicken tenders with a choice of sides including french fries, baked potato, cole slaw, pasta salad, broccoli salad and baked beans.
Cost for this meal:
Adults $12 – Ribeye Steak Sandwich
Adults $10 – 5 pc. Chicken Tenders
Adult meals come with entree plus choice of 2 sides, drink and dessert.
Kids Meals $5 and includes entree plus 1 side and drink.
*All proceeds from the meal support Broughtontown Community Center in community efforts and operation costs this year
A silent auction will also be held during the event. Each auction items will list what organization or party receives the proceeds from that auction items.
