Stanford departments report monthly activity

Stanford Police Officers wrote a total of 167 citations during the month of June.

That’s according to a monthly activity report provided to Stanford City Council members. The Stanford Police department reported 1,036 contacts through 911 in June, as well as 22 incidents/cases. Officers made a total of 13 arrests, gave 106 warnings and responded to 18 accidents.

The Stanford Fire Department responded to 43 incidents in June, including 9 rescue and emergency medical service incidents and 4 hazardous condition calls. There were 3 service calls, 21 good intent calls, two false alarms and 4 special incident type calls. 

Stanford Code Enforcement also submitted a monthly report which included 11 violations in the month of June. Code Enforcement gave 38 warnings and wrote on citation. One porch or deck permit was granted and there was one verification of application for alcoholic beverage license. Code enforcement issued or renewed 30 business licenses in June.
